Camping on a budget (Direct Booking)

  • Save 15-25% by being flexible on the cabin or campsite you stay in. For more information about each type of cabin visit Ways to Stay page and click on the cabin or campsite you are interested in to read more about it and see more photos. Then return to this page to book your cabin for the discount.
  • NO cleaning fees. If you leave your cabin/site clean and without damage, your deposit will be returned.
  • NO service fees (which you pay on sites like Airbnb, VRBO, Hipcamp, etc.)
  • NO linen fees (you provide your own bedding & towels)
  • A Refundable Deposit is required in addition to your rental fee. The deposit covers Reservation cancellations, Damages and Cleaning fees and is 97% refundable. A 3% processing fee is charged.
  • Please see Policies and Rules for our cancellation and refund policies. Full payment is required within 2-weeks of your check-in date to keep your reservation
  • Extra Persons, Pet fees and Taxes Do apply.

HERE IS HOW IT WORKS.

  • Choose the Type of reservation, Dates you want to stay, and the Number of people who will be in your party and if you are planning on bringing 0-2 dogs. (Please note pets must be pre-approved and are limited to pet friendly sites as indicated in site descriptions. Pet fees apply.)
  • Once your payment for the campsite or cabin is received, a campsite or a cabin will be reserved and you will receive a confirmation e-mail. If there is not availability you will receive an email notification and be offered an alternative type of site or a full refund of your payment.
  • Your balance due will be in your confirmation letter. Your final payment must be paid at least 2 weeks prior to your check in date. If payment is not made you may lose your reservation and deposit.
  • You will be notified at least 1-week prior to your reservation of the specific cabin or campsite that you have been assigned to.

WHAT IS IMPORTANT FOR YOU TO DO AND KNOW BEFORE YOU BOOK:

  • Please read our Policies and Rules which apply to all guests before you book.
  • Camping on a Budget is Not available for full amenity cabins.
  • Contact us for weekly and monthly discount rates.
  • A minimum a 2-night or 3-night reservation may be required.
  • All sites are located a short 1-5 minute walk from the parking area.
  • NYS requires sales of 8% and Tompkins County occupancy taxes are 5% totaling taxes of 13% on all cabins, including tree tents and cabin tents.

TYPES OF CABINS OR CAMPSITES (Prices do NOT include taxes):

Campsites (Bring your own tent.) $40/night. $5/person/night after 2. Additional deposit required: $40. 2-night minimum required on Friday and Saturday nights.

Cabin Tent or Tree Tent Campsites, tents are provided. (sites for 1-6) $60/night for up to 2 people. Additional $25/night for each additional 1-2 people (additional or larger tents are required.) Additional deposit required: $60. Minimum 2 night rental.

Rustic Camping Cabins, non-electric (sleeps 1-4) $65/night for up to 2 people, $10/person/night after 2. Additional deposit required: $65. 2-night minimum required on Friday and Saturday nights.

Camping Cabins with electric (sleeps 1-4) $80-$120/night for up to 2 people. $10/person/night after 2. Additional deposit required: $100. Minimum 2 night rental.

Pod Camping Cabins, non-electric (sleep 1-2) $75/night for 1-2 people. Pods do not sleep more than 2. Additional deposit required: $75. 2-night minimum required on Friday and Saturday nights.

Pet Fees: $50 per pet per cabin. $25 per pet per tent-site.
