This is an alcohol and drug free space. All sites are available to book via Hipcamp.

The seasonal rustic cabins include 6 non-electric economical camping cabins. They include beds or cots which sleep between 1 -4 people (depending on the cabin.)  The Lean-to style cabins have screened in doors and windows to protect you from harsh weather and insects.  The Lean-to style cabins also include a picnic table, a portable grill and a campfire pit, as well as use of a rechargeable lantern.  Cabins are a 1-5 minute walk to the parking area and main camp. Wagons are provided as needed to assist with moving gear. All guests have access to the campgrounds main facilities including hot showers, pavilions, dish-washing station and WiFi in main camp area.

Cubby

The Cubby Cabin sleeps 1, and offers a cozy cot and hangout to get some rest between your adventures! It’s small but quaint and located close to all the amenities. WiFi reaches the cabin. It’s a short walk to the hot showers and compost toilets. It’s located in main camp where all the amenities are, next to our recreation pavilion. Charge you phone or work on your laptop in the pavilion next to your cabin.

Red Eft

Situated close to the Red Eft Cafe, this Cabin faces East which allows a morning of sunshine and bird songs.  The Red Eft (an eastern newt) is a resident of the woods of the Hammond Hill State Forest.  This cabin sleeps up to 3 people and has one single cot and one full size cot with mattresses..

White Pine

Located adjacent to and shaded by a beautiful White Pine, also known as the Tree of Peace. It’s in a lovely location just a short walk to the campground facilities. It sleeps up to 4 people and includes a queen size mattress and two single cot mattresses. The Pine shelter is a wonderful little rustic camping cabin for a family of 4.

Aspen

The Aspen is in a private wooded spot surrounded by Quaking Aspen and Poplar trees. It was refurbished after Aspen roots uprooted its floor.  Aspens are native trees to this area, and have a peaceful hum as their leaves “quake” in the wind.  The Aspen is a reclusive cabin that can sleep one or two people with a full size futon bed.

Coyotes Den

This cabin begins to enter a more secluded section of the camp called Pine Haven and may feel distant, yet it is only a short walk to the main facilities. It is named after the coyotes who may sound like they are right outside your window when they begin their song. The Coyotes Den offers a quiet woodsy setting and has become a favorite of campers. It can sleep 1-2 people.

Writer’s Den

Located deeper into the forest, this cabin is for those campers who seek solitude for contemplation and creativity. It has recently been transformed into a viewing cabin with large windows on 3 sides. The night sounds are vibrant and real! A privy and water spigot are located nearby. One or two people can be accommodated by this cabin. (New pictures coming)
