Registration for Healing Hearts Backpacking Basics and Day Hike Retreat

REGISTRATION

The registration fee is a sliding scale fee.  Please pay more if you can afford more to help us cover the costs of operating this event.  Camp Earth Connection is a beautiful facility adjacent to the Hammond Hill State Forest, owned and operated by Susan Rausch.   Camp Earth Connection is about Diversity, Acceptance and Community, and welcomes women ages 18 and up to this event.  (Read further down about our policy for young women under 18.)  For those of you who have limited financial resources, there may be Volunteer Opportunities which can reduce your registration fee.  Please contact the Coordinator, Susan Rausch at campearthconnection@gmail.com for more information about volunteering.

Registration Fees:

      • Friday- September 18, 1-4pm Backpacking Basics: Hiking and Packing,
        Suggested Donation: $15-30
      • Friday – October 9, 1-3pm Backpacking Basics: Setting up your Campsite
        Suggested Donation: $15-30
      • Day Hike Retreat: October 10 (Saturday 9am – 4pm)
        Suggested Donation: $25-50

Policies:

            • This is an alcohol and drug free event.  Smoking is permitted off camp grounds only.
            • Pet’s are not permitted during this event w/out prior approval.  There is a camp dog on the premises.
            • We do not provide childcare at this time.
            • Teen girls between the ages of 13 and 17 may attend but must be accompanied by a guardian and supervised by a guardian as needed or as requested by the retreat coordinator.

Food:

            • Make sure to note any food allergies on your Medical or Registration Form.
            • Meals for Backpacking trip will be provided (Saturday Lunch, Saturday Dinner, Sunday Breakfast and Sunday Lunch);  Bring your own snacks.
