Use the address 63 Hammond Hill Rd, Freeville, NY 13068
Make sure that your directions guide you to Irish Settlement Road and then to Hammond Hill Road.
Do not use directions which tell you to take Harford Road to Hammond Hill Road. Harford Road is not drivable, as it is a very rough seasonal road.
Please note: For Winter weather and snowy conditions, please park in parking lot at the top of Hammond Hill Road and walk down to the camp. The road down to the camp is not plowed – so drive at your own risk. For people who are unable to walk down to camp, please contact us – and if the road can be driven with the 4WD Truck, a ride down the hill can be arranged for you.
Directions from Ithaca
- Take Rte. 13 north toward Dryden.
- Before entering the Village of Dryden take a right onto Irish Settlement Rd.
- After going through an “S” curve you will go up a big hill; continue a couple of miles.
- Take a left onto Hammond Hill Rd.
- About 1/4 mile up the road, bear right where Star Stanton Rd. goes left and continue uphill.
- You will see a parking lot on your right. Continue down Hammond Hill Rd, (it now becomes a seasonal road), for approximately .2 miles and the camp entrance with gates will be on the right.
Alternate Route from Ithaca Route 79
- Take Rt. 79 East from Ithaca towards Slaterville Springs.
- Go one mile past Caroline Elementary School and turn left on Midline Rd.
- After 2 ½ miles bear right onto Irish Settlement Rd. where Midline goes left.
- After 1.8 miles take a right onto Hammond Hill Rd.
- About 1/4 mile up the road, bear right where Star Stanton Rd. goes left and continue uphill.
- You will see a parking lot on your right. Continue down Hammond Hill Rd, (it now becomes a seasonal road), for approximately .2 miles and the camp entrance with gates will be on the right.
