New Adventures await Eshay & Druid

After months of daily hikes, stretching, physical therapy and planning, Druid and I will begin our journey and head down south this weekend to Florida to hike part of the Florida Trail. The Florida National Scenic Trail is a 1,500 mile federally designated trail beginning at Big Cypress National Preserve and ending at Gulf Islands National Seashore. Dru and I plan to spend 2 weeks hiking about 100 miles in the Kissimmee River area. I am excited and cautious as this is certainly new territory for myself and especially Druid. This will be Dru’s second trip, although his first backpacking trip last summer was just 3 days.

I hope to share some daily thoughts, stories or lessons via our Facebook Page each day of our journey. Happy Spring all!  Looking forward to the upcoming season at Camp Earth Connection.

With Peace and Gratitude,
Eshay and Druid
